About the Vancouver Minor Lacrosse Association
The Vancouver Minor Lacrosse Association (VMLA) is the governing body responsible for administering Canada's National Summer Sport for youth aged five to sixteen throughout Vancouver.
The VMLA oversees youth box lacrosse (March - July), youth field lacrosse (August - March), and female-only box lacrosse.
Our catchment area is for any player residing West of Boundary Road between Vancouver and Burnaby, going north from the Burrard Inlet and south to the Fraser River, from Boundary Road running west to Georgia Straight and north of the Fraser River, and south of the Burrard Inlet. Our catchment also includes the area known as the University Endowment Lands
We in turn are governed by the residency rules of the Lower Mainland Minor Lacrosse Association and the Pacific Coast Field Lacrosse league.
There can be exceptions to the residency rules, contact the VMLA president if you have any questions.
